Guide to Volunteering in Bali

We welcome offers of support from around the world, and many of the roles described can be performed remotely from anywhere.

To comply with Indonesian Immigration Law, for on-location volunteering we can only accept offers from Indonesian citizens or foreigners who can legally work in Indonesia. We particularly encourage Indonesians with a passion for the environment, regenerative farming and/or community development to apply for these on-location roles.

Foreigners visiting Bali on tourist or other short-stay visas are not legally permitted to volunteer since this would breach of their visa conditions. If you are a foreigner visiting or living in Bali we recommend you join one of our Farm Immersion Experiences, attend a Workshop or Special Event, or enrol in one of our Courses. Details are available in the Visitors section of our website.
